Twitter plans to offer geofenced Promoted Tweets

Twitter will soon allow advertisers to send users Promoted Tweets when they are physically close to a brick-and-mortar retail store or restaurant. The geotargeting service would be based on a radius set by latitude and longitude, and it would allow for more accuracy than its current metro-area targeting.
