Are robotically built structures on the way?

Printing robots called Minibuilders, each of which has a specific function such as building the foundation, adding new floors and reinforcing the building parts, could conceivably create a structure of any size, according to this article. Researchers at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia developed the tiny robots that work together to lay material that hardens into the shell of the building. There's also less construction waste with this process because custom molds would not be needed, nor would a support structure.
