Report: Ontario not living up to promise of full-day kindergarten

Recent efforts to launch full-day kindergarten programmes in Ontario, Canada, also called for schools with those programmes to offer before- and after-school childcare to those who need it. However, a recent report finds that, in many cases, such programmes are not available, and that schools in more affluent parts of the province are more likely to offer after-school care for students.
