Students grow, sell produce in Del. gardening program

An organization in Delaware has taken the community-garden model popular among adults and implemented it with students. Officials say the after-school program, in which students help to plant and harvest food, helps teach students about growing healthy food and cooking. Students also learn financial literacy by tracking their expenses and selling their products at a monthly farm stand.
