Oil CEOs downplay role of alternative fuels

The CEOs of two major international oil companies say renewable fuels won't make a significant contribution to the world's energy needs in the next few decades. Renewable energy is not a "silver bullet," said Royal Dutch Shell CEO Jeroen van der Veer, while Exxon Mobil Corp.'s Rex Tillerson predicted fossil fuels will play a larger role in meeting energy needs.
