Australian wheat harvest may fall below forecast

Lack of rain in Australia may substantially depress wheat production there this year. The official forecast was for 23.7 million metric tons this harvest. Instead, the world's third-largest wheat exporter may produce only 19.5 million tons, said Callum Downs Commodity News analyst Malcolm Bartholomaeus.
