Arkansas lawmaker introduces made-in-America energy bill

U.S. Rep. Mike Ross, D-Ark., introduced the American-Made Energy Act on Tuesday, which would expand oil and gas exploration in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and along the Outer Continental Shelf. The bill also would set aside an estimated $80 billion in royalty and lease funds for investment in alternative-energy sources.
