Cannes another arena for Apple-Microsoft rivalry

Microsoft and Apple's real-world competition for the hearts -- and wallets -- of PC users is reflected at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, where the two are vying for the same trophies in broadcast, digital, print and other categories. Also, the festival today was scheduled to recognize Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer as its Media Person of the Year.
