Twitter turns down game revenue

Twitter came face to face with a potential revenue model and chose to walk away. "140 Mafia," a Twitter-based video game, offered to cut Twitter in on a plan to allow players to pay for game advantages. "This is a tremendous opportunity for Twitter, and they can make a ton of money," said game maker chief Jason Bailey. "Twitter seems content to not make money. It's all about eyeballs with them."
