CDC: 90% of Americans exceed salt recommendations

A report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says nine in 10 Americans exceed the recommended daily amount of salt consumption, which can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. "The foods we eat most, grains and meats, contain the most sodium," noted a study co-author.
