The nomination of John Pistole to head the Transportation Security Administration received voice-vote approval from the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Thursday, Joe Davidson writes. The nomination will go to the full Senate for a vote. Pistole currently is the deputy director of the FBI.
