Contractor under scrutiny hired to work on WTC tower

Contractor Regional Scaffolding and Hoisting has been hired for work on the office tower planned for the World Trade Center site. The company had been the subject of a criminal inquiry in the burning of New York's Deutsche Bank building in 2007 and remains under investigation for financial irregularities, according to sources. The contractor has received a permit to install a construction elevator at the tower.
