How can iPads best be used in the classroom?

High-school students enrolled in a Wyoming summer school are testing 12 iPads to determine how they can best be utilized in classes when students return in the fall. Students have used the electronic devices to search the Internet and type notes for class. Students likely will use the Apple iPads to read electronic texts, and the devices will allow them to highlight text and take notes on the page. "It's not how to use them," one principal said. "It's what needs to be on them to maximize the students' learning experience."
