Kroger reports sustainability progress

In its 2010 Sustainability Report, Kroger says it has cut energy use in its stores 27% since 2000. The company also says it improved transportation efficiency by 7% in 2009, and recycled 22.6 million pounds of plastic last year from stores and distribution centers.
