Canadian city council eyes zoning change for fun park

The Cranbrook, British Columbia, City Council is in the process of approving a zoning amendment to allow a family-fun park. Entrepreneur Chris Hirn plans to open the park, which will include bumper boats and go-karts. City staff are generally positive about the project but require Hirn to get permits for building, erosion prevention and sediment control.
