Chicago Housing Authority continues overhaul plan

Plan Forward is entering its next phase, entailing construction of new stores for public housing residents, as well as new homes to replace the high rises that have been demolished. The program is being watched closely as a potential model for other cities. The plan is controversial, however, and one group of displaced residents is suing to stop any potential demolition of row houses they previously lived in.
