Everett, Mass., voters OK $1.2B Wynn proposal

Voters in Everett, Mass., overwhelmingly approved a $1.2 billion casino proposal by Wynn Resorts. Eighty-six percent of voters approved the plan for a 550-room resort on a former industrial site. "The voters of Everett have spoken clearly and decisively. The vote heightens our enthusiasm and dedication to this fine project," said Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts Ltd.
