Exercise has positive effects on body fat, study finds

Exercising regularly can cause the body to convert white fat into brown fat, which burns calories and could help prevent weight gain, according to a study presented at the American Diabetes Association annual meeting. "Our results showed that exercise doesn't just have beneficial effects on muscle, it also affects fat," said researcher Kristin Stanford.
