German business outlook improves

German business sentiment improved a bit this month, with the closely watched Ifo index rising to 105.9 points from 105.7 in May. The index is seen as an indicator of the health of Europe's leading industrial power and an engine of eurozone growth. "The German economy seems to cruise along nice and steady, defying any growth concerns," wrote ING economist Carsten Brzeski.
