Google Mine lets users list their belongings

Google is upgrading its Google+ social network with a feature, Mine, that lets users publicly catalog the items they own. The hope is that users will get value from targeted product recommendations based on the items they already own, and perhaps also from browsing their friends' lists for sharable or borrowable items. "Google Mine ... could paint a helpful picture of how collaborative consumption could work on a worldwide scale," Lauren Hockenson writes.
