Hershey takes starring role in season finale of "Mad Men"

The season finale of the popular AMC show "Mad Men" showed protagonist Don Draper delivering a marketing pitch to Hershey executives in which he invents a story about his childhood, and in a pivotal moment, admits in the same meeting that the story was a lie. Series creator Matthew Weiner said he chose Hershey because the Don Draper character is from Pennsylvania, where the chocolate maker is based. “The Hershey pitch is where we were working toward the entire season,” said Weiner.
