How the role of the Linux developer is changing

Linux developers are doing more than developing so the Linux Foundation is providing new training to help professionals learn expected new skills. The nonprofit is adding two courses, OpenStack Cloud Architecture and Deployment and Linux Enterprise Automation, according to Amanda McPherson, the foundation's vice president of marketing and developer programs, who said developers "are much more of an orchestrator than a mechanic."
