IFA: Franchise growth will slow through the end of 2013

Despite the fact franchise growth will outperform businesses in other industries, it will slow through the end of the year in light of concerns about the government's spending sequester and restrictive tax codes, according to an updated economic report from the IFA. "Franchise growth continues to outpace other sectors of the economy as franchising remains the fastest way to grow and scale a business despite the still uneven economic recovery and the onerous public policy environment facing our members and the small business community," IFA President and CEO Steve Caldeira said.
