Oracle, Salesforce to team up on the cloud

Salesforce and Oracle are forging a cooperative relationship in their cloud efforts, which will let users share data across both systems and integrate data between the vendors' software, according to Salesforce founder Marc Benioff. "By teaming up with Salesforce, Oracle can have a crack at going after a much bigger market of smaller-sized deals," Nick Farrell writes. Oracle reportedly also is working with Microsoft on a similar initiative.
