Report: Technological innovations in transportation will drive major changes by 2025

Upcoming technological breakthroughs in transportation are about to make significant changes in the industry by 2025, according to a study by the World Economic Forum and the Boston Consulting Group. One of these breakthroughs is the use of radio frequency identification chips to optimize logistics and delivery of goods. However, the report identified several roadblocks to these innovations, such as concerns of cyberattacks and lack of cross-industry cooperation.
