Starbucks decides to forgo U.K. tax deductions

Starbucks will forgo millions of dollars' worth of U.K. tax deductions this year and next, voluntarily paying corporate taxes for the first time in five years. Starbucks has been criticized for a series of deductions and tax-code loopholes that allowed the company to claim to be technically unprofitable.
