Winner crowned at World's Ugliest Dog Contest

A pooch that one judge described as looking like a mix of "pieces from various dogs and maybe a few other animals" won the 25th annual World's Ugliest Dog Contest last week. Walle, a 4-year-old mutt, topped other contestants in the nonbeauty contest, which has recently favored nearly hairless Chihuahuas and Chinese Cresteds. "People come up to me and say that dog is not right, but I love him," said Tammie Barbee, Walle's owner.
