Women seen as more influenced by packaging

In a survey of more than 500 packaging and marketing professionals, 77% said women are more likely than men to be influenced by new packaging and on-pack promotions. "However, most brand managers will work hard to ensure their packaging catches the eye of any shopper who is in their target market, irrespective of their age or gender," said Alison Church, director of easyFairs, which conducted the research.
