Is your strategy really a strategy?

Too many bosses assume they've got a solid strategy just because they've got a vision, a marketing campaign or a budgeting plan, writes David Burkus. Those things are all worth having, but true strategy involves making choices, not just hatching plans, Burkus explains. "If you're involved in developing a strategy for your organization, take a hard look at what you're offering and make sure you're not calling your strategy something it isn't," he writes.
