Expert predicts construction gains through 2005

Speaking to builders in Missouri yesterday, Robert Murray of McGraw-Hill Construction said he expects overall construction this year to grow by 3% nationally. Although Murray said "tight fiscal conditions" may dampen demand for public-works projects, the outlook for office construction is much better than it has been in the past two years.
