Giveaway CDs include a few gems, much chaff

Washington state schools and libraries which just received their share of a free CD windfall stemming from a recording industry anti-trust settlement last year report getting albums with inappropriate music and way too many copies of the same title. The Puget Sound Educational Service District, for example, received 1,355 copies of Whitney Houston singing the "Star Spangled Banner" before the 1991 Super Bowl.
