Study: Protein test could determine Alzheimer's before symptoms

Researchers are working on a test that could help answer questions about the development of Alzheimer's disease, through monitoring of the amyloid beta protein. An initial trial of the test technique in healthy volunteers showed the protein is produced and cleared rapidly rather than slowly, as many experts had assumed.
