E. coli outbreak linked to ground beef

The CDC suspects that outbreaks of E. coli in Michigan and Ohio were caused by contaminated ground beef. Of the 15 people diagnosed with E. coli in Michigan, half say they recently bought ground beef from Kroger. "Any ground beef sold during that period is no longer available in our stores," said a Kroger spokeswoman.
