Anti-bullying advocate to lead federal school-safety efforts

Kevin Jennings, who has been nominated to lead the Education Department's division of school safety, is a passionate anti-bullying advocate who himself was harassed as a gay teen. Supporters say the appointment of Jennings, a former history teacher, sends a strong message from the Obama administration in support of gay students, but some conservative groups say they oppose his appointment.
