TARP's Allison explains progress on public-private partnerships

Speaking before the Congressional Oversight Panel, Herb Allison, overseer of the Troubled Asset Relief Program, said progress is being made to pair up the government with investors to buy banks' troubled assets. "I'm confident that very soon we'll be launching partnerships," Allison said. He also said while recovery efforts must be maintained, the economy is showing positive signs.
