Caterpillar reaches deal with German firm

Caterpillar is expanding its international presence in a deal with equipment maker Wacker Neuson based in Germany. Wacker Neuson will design, manufacture and sell Cat's mini hydraulic excavators at its plant in Linz, Austria. Caterpillar will then distribute the machines, which weigh less than 3 tons, through its global dealer network.
