Molecular Detection says it will launch MRSA test next year

Molecular Detection said it will likely launch its Detect-Ready MRSA test in the U.S. in the first half of next year. The test can identify the bacteria in nasal swab samples. The company said it also is developing tests for C. difficile and vancomycin-resistant enterococcus, and a variation of the MRSA test that will use blood samples.
