School district considers wellness program to reduce costs

Coal City school officials in Illinois are looking at implementing a wellness program to counter a 20% increase in the district's health insurance rates. A Health Initiative program offered by the Horton Group has seven wellness components, including screenings, and the company says the district could recoup from $3 to $6 for each $1 spent.
