Children with ADHD may be at greater disability risk after head injury

Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder were more likely than peers without the condition to incur a moderate disability after suffering from a mild traumatic brain injury, a study in the Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics showed. Researchers said that parents should encourage children with ADHD to participate in sports or hobbies that carry a lower risk of injury.
