UP invests more than $23M in rail networks in Ore., Wyo.

Union Pacific plans to invest more than $23 million in infrastructure projects to develop its networks in Oregon and Wyoming. An estimated $8.6 million will be spent to build a new siding in Portland, Ore., while $15 million will be used for replacement of rail ties and 18 crossing-surface renewal projects in Wyoming. Work in both states is expected to be completed this year.
