Kempinski seeks deals for three hotels in Europe

Duncan O'Rourke, chief operating officer of Kempinski AG, says the luxury-hotel operator is in negotiations to purchase or manage three iconic hotels in Paris and Nice, France, and Barcelona. O'Rourke wouldn't identify the hotels. The company's primary goal is to take over management of the properties, but failing that, would push for an acquisition, O'Rourke said. "We are prepared to put equity in certain properties and buying a property outright would also be an option," O'Rourke said.
