Microsoft launches Bing service tailored for schools

Microsoft is introducing a version of its Bing search engine for K-12 schools that has no advertisements and contains tighter privacy controls and content filters, a company representative wrote in a blog post. The service will include digital-literacy lesson plans to help students learn how to use search for educational purposes.
