More people turn to personal shoppers

Personal shoppers who help those without the time or inclination to shop for their own wardrobes are becoming increasingly popular as department stores including Canada's Hudson's Bay and Holt Renfrew offer the services for free. "People think it's a luxury service but it’s definitely not. The assumption was that our clients' budgets would be $10,000, but we had a lot of people whose budgets were $800 or less," said former personal shopper Lindsay Wilkes.
