Nursing doctoral programs' rejection rate falls, signaling capacity boost

The percentage of qualified applicants rejected by nursing schools for doctoral programs fell from 43% to 37%, an indicator of increasing education capacity, according to a National League for Nursing survey. Minority enrollment in most post-licensure programs increased last year, particularly in RN-to-BSN programs.
