Ohio high-school students go west for volunteer work

Students from Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio, recently took a service-learning trip to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, where they helped others and learned firsthand what life is like in another culture. Days were spent working on home improvement projects around the reservation, and evenings were devoted to meeting the families who live there and absorbing as much about the Oglala Lakota people as possible.
