U.S. house prices increase the most since 2006

Prices of homes in all 20 cities tracked by the Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller index rose 12.1% in April compared with April 2012, the biggest gain since March 2006. The Commerce Department says sales of new homes hit an annualized 476,000 last month, up 29% compared with May 2012 and the strongest growth in five years.
