Will the DOMA decision intensify the culture wars?

National Review's Robert Costa thinks the political right will be energized by a Supreme Court decision that strikes down the Defense of Marriage Act. "There is very much an element of the party that rejects the Republican National Committee's autopsy," which called for de-emphasizing issues such as marriage equality, Costa said on MSNBC's "Up with Steve Kornacki." Still, most senior Republicans have not been vocal about defending DOMA, panelist Chris Geidner said. Most Americans don’t care about the culture wars, noted Ana Marie Cox.
