Brands take a bite out of buzz from bizarre World Cup moment

Shock waves went through social media Tuesday when Uruguayan soccer player Luis Suarez bit an opposing player from Italy during a World Cup match. A wide variety of brands were quick to capitalize on the opportunity to join the conversation and promote their products. The Twitter account for Snickers suggested that Suarez might find the candy bar "more satisfying than Italian." McDonald's, Listerine and Trident gum also joined the fray with jokes.
