China to widen range of FX derivatives

The Chinese State Administration of Foreign Exchange plans to approve more kinds of foreign exchange derivatives to help the economy manage currency risk and encourage the expansion of exporters. The regulator says it will change guidelines to allow smaller companies to develop FX options and make it easier for banks to participate in the derivatives business.
