How Xbox has gone from basement to living room

Microsoft's Xbox over the past decade has followed its core users from the dorm room or basement to the living room, evolving from being used mainly for games to an entertainment portal, said Lydia Antonini, senior vice president of creative at Xbox Entertainment Studios. Xbox has more than 48 million users worldwide, with the average user engaging with the system for more than five hours a day, Antonini said at an industry event.
